Dr. Mazen Kharbutli is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST).

Dr. Kharbutli received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University in the USA in 2005. He received the M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland in the USA in 2002 and the B.S. degree in the same field from JUST in 2000.

Dr. Kharbutli has several publications in computer architecture and computer security. His research interests include: high performance microarchitecture, memory systems, computer security, parallel processing, and hardware support for computer security and reliability. While a Ph.D. student, he worked under the supervision of Dr. Yan Solihin.

Dr. Kharbutli is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He is also a member of the IEEE.
